According to Newsday, Brooklyn borough president Marty Markowitz confirmed that he had been in contact with Wang about the team moving there.
This is a big development because it shows that finally after all these years that Wang is finally exploring other options! It should be interesting if his announcement/statement tomorrow is related to that. If you remember a few weeks back on twitter we had reported that an Islander employee said that they were signing a lease with a new city that week. Well maybe that was true, and they signed one with Brooklyn & that is what will be announced tomorrow.
