Wild Land Parise And Suter

As most everyone already knows, the Minnesota Wild made headlines everywhere earlier this afternoon landing not only the top forward on the market Zach Parise but the top defenseman on the market in Ryan Suter.

It came as little surprise that the Wild signed Parise as they had been noted as a front runner for him for a while since Zach is from there.  Zach is reportedly going to be the Wilds new captain.  However, the fact that they beat out teams like Detroit for Ryan Suters services is a huge sign for the Wilds organizaton and their fans and I think shows how bad Parise and Suter wanted to play together.

The Wild gave each of them 13 years 98 million dollar contracts, each of them have a cap hit of roughly $7,500,000 next season.
