And So It Goes: Nassau Hires Law Firm for Coliseum

Even with all the recent speculation connecting the Islanders to Brooklyn, politicians in Nassau County are keeping hope.  Newsday reports that the County has hired a law firm to handle the talks regarding the site.

Newsday reports that the firm Pannone Lopes Devereaux & West, LLC, was hired by the county this past spring for $25,000 to get the countys application for state funding ready.  Additionally, they were also to prepare the countys RFQ for a master developer for "the hub" site.  To officially hire them in this expanded capacity, the Mangano administration sought an extra $200,000 from the rules committee of the county legislature and it was approved unanimously.
