Derek Boogards Family Files Lawsuit Against NHLPA

According to TMZ, the family for former NHL enforcer Derek Boogard has filed a 9.8 million dollar lawsuit against the NHLPA claiming they didn't give the family the proper assistance they were supposed to in order for the family to recover the money Derek had left on his deal from the Rangers after his tragic death last May.  They are suing for 5 million in punitive damages and 4.8 million for the balance that was left on his contract with the Rangers.
