According to Islanderspointblank.com, the Islanders have announced that they have officially suspended Lubomir Visnovsky. Suspending him, made room on the roster for todays waiver acquisition Brian Strait.
Visnovsky has been making headlines since the lockout ended with his desire to stay overseas instead of reporting here. Yesterday Arthur Staple reported that he is expected to report in the first week of February.
