NHL BOG Set To Meet Wednesday

According to various reports, the NHL board of governors are set to meet this upcoming Wednesday with the main goal of their meeting voting to ratify the new CBA agreed to this morning by the NHL and NHLPA.

Elliotte Friedman of HNIC reports that the season will start January 19th, with all 30 teams in action on that day.  That would have training camp starting this upcoming Saturday or the following Monday the 14th.  However, Pierre LeBrun of ESPN reports that if things are ratified quickly there is still a chance of a 50 game season starting on January 15th but that isnt as likely.
