According to Islanderspointblank, the Islanders once again are planning to play a pre season game at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn prior to the start of the 2013/2014 NHL season.
The Islanders were scheduled to play the Devils in a pre season game there prior to this season. However, it was canceled because of the lockout, and weeks after the game was scheduled the Islanders announced they would be moving to the Barclays Center upon the end of their lease with Nassau County.
