Changes Are Coming

Update: According to Newsday, the Islanders will be recalling defenseman Calvin De Haan from Bridgeport and sending down Matt Donovan.  

#Isles will announce recall of D Calvin de Haan later this AM, with Matt Donovan going down to BPT. De Haan is 1-2-3 in 17 gms w/BPT.

According to Matt Saidman from LIB Magazine, there will be roster changes coming to the Islanders with an announcement expected either tomorrow or Friday.  Give Matt a follow on twitter here.  Unfortunately for us, he wasn't able to go any more in depth then that.

Naturally we are all wondering what the team could possibly do?  My immediate thought was calling up Ryan Strome from the AHL and waiving someone like Boulton.  Some may think we made another deal but I just don't see it because any deal that would make sense would mean the owner would have to spend more money and I don't think he is doing that.  If it does turn out to be a deal where we take on money, that signals to me that the Brooklyn people have a bigger influence in things then maybe we realize.
