According to Darren Dreger from TSN, he was told by Garth Snow in a series of text messages that he isn't making a coaching change.
The Islanders have lost 11 of their last 13 games and are 6-15-3 in their last 24 games which puts them at last in the Metropolitan division and with the third worst record in the NHL.
Even though this slide is beginning to resemble the one that got Capuanos predecessor Scott Gordon axed, Garth is still giving Capuano the benefit of the doubt. It will be interesting to see how long Snows leash is for Capuano though.
