According to reports, earlier today the Islanders made the first of what is expected to be 2 deadline deals shipping defenseman Andrew MacDonald to the rival Flyers. In exchange for MacDonald, the Islanders received a 2014 3rd round pick, 2015 2nd round pick, and prospect Matt Mangene who is from Manorville here on the Island.

Overall, given MacDonalds rental status I think Snow did pretty good for himself here. Mangene may not appear to be much of a prospect but he was able to get the second round pick back that he gave up in the Vanek trade which is good work on his part.
