Islanders Sign Justin Johnson

Earlier this evening, news came down that the Islanders had signed enforcer Justin Johnson to a 2 way deal.

Johnson had been playing with Bridgeport this season after signing a minor league deal with them over the summer.  In 36 games this year Johnson has managed 4 points and 156 penalty minutes.

I suspect that this signing was done to provide the Islanders some depth should they need players after the trade deadline.
