Isles Place Halak on IR, Recall Poulin

This morning, the Islanders placed goalie Jaroslav Halak on IR with a lower body injury, according to multiple reports.
On Tuesday, the Islanders gave Halak a full maintenance day off, not even dressing him as Chad Johnsons backup for the game against Montreal which concerned some people.  With him being placed on IR today, it seems like they had reason to be concerned.

With his move to IR, the Islanders recalled Kevin Poulin.  Poulin is off to a great in Bridgeport this year with a 2.41 GAA and a .928 save percentage in 20 starts.

It should be interesting to see how the coaching staff handles this.  If they will give Johnson a majority of the starts or if they will have more of a platoon situation with Johnson and Poulin splitting the starts.
