Pre Game: Isles Snap Streak, Prepare for Wild

On Saturday, our Islanders snapped their 4 game losing streak as they defeated the Devils by score of 3-0.

Jaroslav Halak was really on his game in his return from injury making big save after big save.  Additionally, the Islanders had nice goals from both Travis Hamonic and Ryan Strome.

Lastly, great job by all the Islander fans who made the trip to Jersey and made the game feel like an Islander home game.

Coming off that big win, tonight the Islanders prepare to play host to the Minnesota Wild and former teammates Thomas Vanek and Nino Niederreiter.  They will also welcome back Pat LaFontaine after an extended absence from the arena.

The goalie match up features Devan Dubnyk in net for Minnesota tonight.  Dubnyk has really resurrected his career after being traded to the Wild earlier this season.  Coming off his shut out victory on Saturday, Jaroslav Halak will be back between the pipes for the Islanders.

The Islanders will lineup will see one change as after being a healthy scratch on Saturday, Calvin de Haan will return to the lineup tonight.  To make room for him, Matt Donovan will return to the press box.
